| Bids will be received by Quonochontaug Central Beach Fire District (QCBFD) until the close of business at 4:00 PM on Thursday February 23, 2023. The project consists of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation work required for the construction and installation of improvements to the existing public water supply, treatment, storage and distribution system serving the Central Beach community. Bids will be opened and read immediately following the close of bid receipt.

Prospective bidders should visit the work site for a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, to be held at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at the QCBFD Pump House, 66 Sea Breeze Ave, Charlestown, RI 02813. The bid submittal location and submittal format will be identified at the PreBid Meeting.
No bids may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Owner and Project Manager reserve the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding and to accept that Proposal which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Owner.
